About The Position

The Senior Analytics Engineer is a senior technical role within Southside Bank’s data team, focused on building and maintaining the Snowflake data platform that supports analytics, reporting, and AI capabilities across the organization. The role leads day-to-day work across data ingestion, dbt modeling, and data quality, and serves as the team’s primary resource on Snowflake AI and Cortex features. Platform decisions are made collaboratively, with individual accountability for specific workstreams and initiatives. The position is based in Tyler or the Dallas–Fort Worth area of Texas. Candidates must currently reside in Texas; relocation assistance and fully remote work are not available. A hybrid schedule is offered, with three days in the office and two days working from home.
