About The Position

The Site Engineer delivers XYZ Reality’s core service on construction projects. The role involves tracking construction progress against BIM models, carrying out on-site quality inspections, and submitting findings to clients through the XYZ platform. The successful candidate will have practical construction-site experience and be able to adopt XYZ Reality’s technology and workflows quickly. This is a permanent position in Hutto, Texas. Ongoing assignments depend on project availability and the candidate’s flexibility to travel or relocate.

Requirements

Experience working on construction sites.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Comfort working with digital tools and software platforms.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced site environment.
Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Suite.
Must have a clean criminal record and be willing to undergo background checks and drug tests due to project security requirements.

Responsibilities

Track construction progress against BIM models using XYZ’s Augmented Reality Device, The Atom.
Conduct on-site quality inspections and raise observations on the XYZ Platform.
Submit QA issues to the client daily.
Ensure work quality and follow outlined workflows and standards.
Maintain high data accuracy and reporting standards.
Collaborate with other on-site engineers to ensure full project coverage.
Support the Lead Engineer in maintaining operational standards.
