About The Position

The Project Controls Division is seeking a Senior Analyst to support the adoption of construction management tools in DDC projects and planning efforts involving emerging technology in design and construction. The technology may include, but is not limited to, building information modeling (BIM) and reality captures. Under minimal supervision and with latitude for independent judgment, the employee will support data analysis and reporting as part of DDC’s process improvement efforts. Effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders across the Agency are required.

The position is full-time for 35 hours per week and is located at 30-30 Thomson Avenue, New York, NY 11101. Educational credentials must be from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Foreign credentials require independent equivalency verification from an approved evaluation service.

Requirements

• A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community-centered activities related to the described duties; or high school graduation or equivalent and six years of such experience; or equivalent education and/or experience.
• All candidates must have at least one year of experience in community work or community-centered activities related to the described duties.
• Educational credentials must be from a U.S. Department of Education-recognized accredited institution; foreign credentials require independent equivalency verification from an approved evaluation service.

Responsibilities

• Support adoption of construction management tools in DDC projects.
• Support planning efforts associated with emerging technology in design and construction, including technology such as BIM and reality captures.
