About The Position

The Senior Analyst combines data analysis with physical inventory management across customer storerooms at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The position is fully onsite, with a Monday–Friday work schedule at 8901 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, MD 20889. Inventory Management at Cardinal Health designs and executes demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and stocking optimization models to minimize costs and inventory while meeting service requirements. This role works with authorized government representatives to compose orders, obtains government authorization, communicates unavailability, delivers and restocks materiel, and provides priced packing lists. It applies working knowledge to varied tasks and projects of moderate scope and complexity, with general guidance and review for sound reasoning and accuracy.

Requirements

3–5 years of experience in inventory management, project management, as a supply technician, or in data and administration in a healthcare setting (preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (preferred).
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

Provide inventory for stock sites.
Work with authorized government representatives to compose orders; do not create orders.
Obtain government authorization for orders. An Authorized Government Representative (AGR) will be available at each stock site.
Notify the stock site of materiel that is unavailable within two hours of order authorization.
Deliver and restock materiel to stock sites within 24 hours of order receipt on business days.
Provide priced packing lists to the COR or AGR before restocking.
Apply working knowledge of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks.
Work on projects of moderate scope and complexity.
Identify possible solutions to technical problems and take action to resolve them.
Apply judgment within defined parameters.
