About The Position

Join BMO Wealth Data & Analytics and help turn data into meaningful insights that drive better business decisions and support key Wealth initiatives. As part of a high-performing team, you’ll design and deliver impactful analytics and visualization solutions that enable fact-based decision-making. Working closely with business partners, you’ll translate complex needs into intuitive dashboards, reporting, and data-driven recommendations using tools such as SQL, SAS, Python, and Power BI. You’ll also have opportunities to expand your technical skillset, including exposure to emerging analytics capabilities and AI-driven tools. Requirements

Typically, between 4 - 6 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge and experience in data preparation, data analysis, ETLs, and statistical tool sets - SQL, Python, and SAS - In-depth.
Knowledge and experience in visualization tools, particularly Power BI

Responsibilities

Actively participates in the design, implementation and management of new analytics & reporting solutions.
Builds reports (regular and ad hoc) and visualization dashboards to effectively communicate data driven insights to users for a variety of audiences e.g. visualization solutions of data into reports, graphics, dashboards to illustrate facts, trends, and insights.
Develops solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.
Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide subject matter insights and recommendations.
Monitors and tracks dashboard/report performance, user acceptance testing, and addresses any issues.
Integrates information from multiple sources to enable more efficient processes, enhanced analysis and/or streamlined reporting.
Supports development and execution of strategic analytics & reporting initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Documents and maintain operational procedures and processes relating to analytical and reporting processes.
Collaborates and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to deliver on business objectives.
Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus.
Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
Works independently on a range of complex tasks, which may include unique situations.
