Senior Analyst, Strategy & Business Operations - Financial & Revenue / GTM Insights
About The Position
RingCentral is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its Strategy & Business Operations team. The role owns live financial and go-to-market analytics products, building automated views of bookings, revenue, pipeline, and cost using Python and AI coding tools. It also supports company transformation programs through robust tracking. The analyst will work with large datasets and collaborate with Finance, Revenue Operations, and Sales leadership to define and reconcile metrics. They will automate recurring reporting, document analytical methods for reproducibility, and present actionable findings to senior leaders, including VPs and the C-suite. The role is based in Belmont, California, and requires working in the office four days per week.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in strategy, business operations, financial analysis, analytics, or consulting.
- Proficiency in Python, such as pandas, for building tools.
- Advanced SQL skills.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake or BigQuery.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot, along with strong code-review judgment.
- Solid grounding in subscription software financial and revenue metrics.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief executives concisely.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain live financial and go-to-market analytics covering bookings, ARR, pipeline conversion, retention, and cost trends.
- Automate recurring reporting cycles to eliminate manual refreshes.
- Support transformation programs by establishing baselines, tracking targets, and flagging risks.
- Analyze large datasets using Python, SQL, and cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake or BigQuery, and document methods for reproducibility.
- Align with Finance, Revenue Operations, and Sales leadership on metric definitions.
- Present actionable findings to senior leadership, including VPs and the C-suite.
