Global Merchant & Network Services brings together American Express' merchant and network-related businesses. This includes the management of our relationships across the globe with both the millions of merchants who accept American Express, as well as our partners in countries and territories that deliver card acceptance, issuance and innovation. The Global Bonusing Governance (GBG) Team is part of Global Merchant & Network Services (GMNS) and sits within Global Strategy, Operations, & Performance (GSOP). GBG’s team mission is to actively manage and continuously improve the processes by which merchant data is maintained, governed, and used for rewards bonusing. GBG collaborates cross-functionally with enterprise Marketing, US Consumer Services, Global Commercial Services, International Card Services, Global Merchant Services, Technology, Legal, and Compliance teams among others to ensure that we can fulfill accurately on the customer promise.
