Join TELUS Health as a Senior Pension Calculation Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying test calculation scenarios that will ensure good test coverage, executing these test calculations using our retirement calculation software, verifying them, and reporting and tracking the resolution of identified anomalies. Requirements

• University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or finance
• 4 years of relevant experience in Canadian pension plan administration
• Experience in verification of pension plan calculations or/and Experience in pension plan implementation
• Proficiency in pension calculation tools
• Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its international scope.

• Knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar job management tool (asset)

Responsibilities

• Communicates with functional leaders, business analysts to have a clear understanding of the scope of testing
• Analyzes technical documents to identify required test scenarios
• Executes and verifies the calculation results of the test scenarios, reports anomalies
• Keeps the test suite up-to-date with new features added or changes to existing features
• Participates in team meetings and calculation review sessions
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams for problem solving
• Contributes to the continuous improvement of verification processes
