Senior Analyst, Paid Media

EverQuoteCambridge, MA
$90,000 - $115,000Hybrid

About The Position

EverQuote is a leading AI-powered growth solutions partner for regulated property and casualty insurance entities, enabling the largest insurance carriers and thousands of agents to maximize customer acquisition across digital channels. Fueled by our proprietary data assets and our AI traffic engine, EverQuote is transforming the way providers attract and engage consumers to grow market share. Joining our team puts you at the forefront of this transformation. You will collaborate with a group of builders to solve complex problems and reshape a massive industry. If you want to drive real-world impact and do the best work of your career, you’ve found your home. We move fast, follow the data, and hold ourselves to high standards. If that's how you work too, this is the role for you. As Senior Analyst, Paid Media, you will own television, connected TV, streaming video, YouTube, and streaming audio for EverQuote’s consumer growth businesses. These are new and fast-growing channels for us, and you will be the single owner: planning, buying, optimizing, and proving out what works. You will report to the Manager, Paid Media, and work closely with Data Science, Marketing, and Finance. This is a high-ownership role with significant budget and no existing playbook. We are looking for a hands-on video and audio buyer and a strong analyst who can show leadership where the channel works and how to scale it.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on paid media experience with meaningful time spent on video and/or audio buying - not solely search or social.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or related field OR demonstrated analytical ability or equivalent hands-on professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience running CTV and YouTube campaigns, including hands-on work in the relevant buying platforms (for example DV360, Google Ads, Amazon DSP, The Trade Desk, Netflix, Hulu, or comparable).
  • Experience managing or working closely with a media agency: briefing, plan review, negotiation, and performance management.
  • Experience working directly with platform, publisher, or network partners.
  • Comfortable owning a substantial budget with accountability for efficiency metrics, not just execution.
  • Strong analytical skills - able to work in spreadsheets and BI tools, interrogate performance data, and connect channel metrics to business outcomes.
  • Clear written and verbal communication; able to present a point of view to leadership and push back on an agency.

Nice To Haves

  • Streaming audio buying experience (for example Spotify, Pandora, iHeart, Audacy, or podcast networks).
  • Linear TV and Connected-TV experience, including national and local buying.
  • Direct-response or performance-oriented TV and audio background rather than purely brand.
  • Experience with incrementality or geo-based testing methodology.
  • Insurance, fintech, or another high-consideration, heavily regulated category. (good to have, not required)
  • Familiarity with ad ops and measurement tooling relevant to video and audio.
  • Exposure to attribution solution such as Media mix modeling

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end planning, buying, and optimization of CTV, streaming video, YouTube, linear TV, and streaming audio campaigns.
  • Manage budgets, flighting, and pacing against monthly and quarterly targets; forecast spend and flag risk early.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for our media agency - brief campaigns, review media plans and post-logs, hold the agency accountable to performance and process commitments.
  • Build and manage direct relationships with platform and publisher partners; evaluate new inventory, beta programs, and pricing opportunities.
  • Partner with Data Science on measurement: incrementality and geo lift testing, media mix model inputs, reach and frequency management, brand lift studies, and cross-channel attribution.
  • Work with creative to build a video and audio testing roadmap; manage asset specs, trafficking, and creative rotation.
  • Report on channel performance to marketing leadership with a clear read on what is working, what is not, and what we are changing.
  • Partner with finance on accruals, billing reconciliation, and budget re-forecasts.

Benefits

  • health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits
