Senior Analyst, Labor Planning & Deployment Scheduling
About The Position
As a Senior Analyst, Labor Planning & Deployment Scheduling, you'll play a key role in helping major store projects come to life. You'll partner with teams across construction, merchandising, retail operations, and deployment to make sure the right resources are in the right place at the right time. If you enjoy solving complex problems, working with data, and coordinating moving pieces to drive successful execution, this could be a great fit for you. You'll have the opportunity to influence large-scale initiatives that impact stores across the business. This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work on site Monday through Thursday at the Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota. You can work virtually from home or another non‑Best Buy location on Friday. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in operations, project coordination, workforce planning, analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder partnership skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with labor planning, workforce management, or project deployment.
- Experience using tools such as ServiceNow, Procore, Power BI, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Project.
- Experience working with third-party vendors or labor providers.
- Knowledge of retail, merchandising, or construction project execution
Responsibilities
- Build and manage labor and deployment schedules for store initiatives and projects.
- Analyze labor demand, capacity, and project timelines to identify risks and opportunities.
- Partner with internal teams and third-party providers to ensure deployment readiness.
- Monitor project execution and help resolve scheduling and deployment issues.
- Provide reporting and insights that support planning and decision-making.
- Help improve processes, tools, and forecasting accuracy across the team.
