Position Summary The Sr. Analyst Informatics (Encounter Technical Analyst) is responsible to analyze and document business data and processes, conduct root cause analysis, and create reports or other solutions as needed to support business needs. This position is responsible to conduct analysis or produce reports of varied claim and encounter data.

Requirements

  • Proficient in SQL, able to write and modify queries, interpret results, conduct root cause analysis, develop short- and long-term solutions following through to completion.
  • 1+ years of relevant programming or analytical experience.
  • Including development and experience with writing complex queries.
  • Experience in working in a data warehouse environment as well as the ability to work with large data sets from multiple data sources.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to present information to various audiences.
  • Strong collaboration skills within and across teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Claims/Encounters experience.
  • QNXT or Edifecs experience.
  • Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) files.
  • Experience with test script development and execution.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Writing simple to complex SQL queries, procedures, and reports on both an ad hoc and production basis for analysis of data trends or anomalies impacting business success.
  • Proactively define, identify, develop, and implement system enhancements or modifications to support business strategic goals.
  • Assists and participates in the development and prioritization of system updates.
  • Executes test scripts and reports outcomes or defects.
  • Conduct analysis or produce reports of varied claim and encounter data.
  • Manage multiple projects forward simultaneously and be responsible for the results.
  • Establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
