About The Position

The Senior Analyst, Corporate Strategy job partners to assess enterprise and portfolio performance, analyze market and competitive trends and identify growth opportunities to support the development of corporate and business unit strategies that drive long term value creation. With limited supervision, this job also partners to develop strategic insights and recommendations, investment cases and associated financial and execution plans to inform strategic decision making.

Requirements

• Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to work onsite in Wayzata, Minnesota.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in strategy development across growth and transformation topics.
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling and corporate finance.
• Experience in the agricultural, food or commodities sectors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Structures moderately complex business problems and develop hypotheses and conducts qualitative and quantitative analyses to help address strategic questions and generate insights.
• Partners to assess industry structure, business models, key profit drivers and organizational dynamics to synthesize performance insights that inform strategic priorities.
• Partners to prepare data driven recommendations and supporting materials to capture identified strategic opportunities, including acquisitions and divestitures, linking recommendations to financial and execution plans, including acquisition gameboards, to ensure value creation.
• Cooperates with cross functional teams to support effective execution process.
• Develops and implements moderately complex workstream plans to deliver insights and recommendations aligned to defined timelines and targets and supports the implementation of strategy execution plans.
• Prepares clear written and verbal communications that summarize workstream specific analyses and findings to support partners' understanding and informed decision making.
