About The Position

The Senior Analyst, Corporate Strategy is a key member of Boston Scientific's Corporate Strategy team, contributing to the analyses and initiatives that shape the company's long-term direction. In this role, you will support and independently execute strategic workstreams, develop data-driven insights and recommendations, and collaborate closely with senior members of the Corporate Strategy team. The Corporate Strategy team serves as a trusted advisor to Boston Scientific's CEO, CFO and Board of Directors, supporting the company's most consequential strategic decisions, including portfolio strategy, growth opportunities, capital allocation and enterprise priorities. This role offers the opportunity to influence executive decision-making while working across the organization's global businesses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3 years' experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, investment banking or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently execute analytical projects from problem definition through recommendation.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including financial modeling and executive presentation development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting analyses and recommendations to senior leaders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in medical technology, healthcare or life sciences.
  • Familiarity with mergers and acquisitions processes, strategic partnerships and due diligence.
  • Experience developing materials and supporting presentations for C-suite executives and Boards of Directors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end strategic analyses on high-priority topics, including market sizing, competitive landscape assessments, white-space identification and evaluations of emerging technologies.
  • Synthesize insights from primary and secondary research into clear, compelling recommendations and executive-level presentations.
  • Identify strategic opportunities and risks across Boston Scientific's global businesses and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Serve as a core contributor to Boston Scientific's annual Strategic Planning (Strat Plan) process.
  • Partner with Business Unit leaders to develop strategic analyses, planning materials and executive presentations.
  • Support executive leadership and Board of Directors presentations throughout the strategic planning cycle.
  • Support the assessment and prioritization of mergers and acquisitions, venture investments and strategic partnership opportunities across the company's portfolio.
  • Lead defined due diligence workstreams, including market sizing, market penetration forecasting and competitive positioning analyses.
  • Analyze Boston Scientific's business portfolio, research and development pipeline and market dynamics to inform strategic priorities.
  • Develop performance metrics, monitor strategic initiatives and generate insights that support enterprise decision-making.
