About The Position

This role is responsible for participating in and providing overarching strategic oversight to specific Access Technologies and Systems (ATS) operations and project-related work. This includes areas such as patient self-scheduling/digital scheduling, external decision tree lead, internal decision tree lead, and cadence admin trainer. The position serves a primary role in the support of software programs or modules across multiple clinical and/or business functions. The analyst will understand the enterprise business environment and the impact ATS can have, including broad patient access implications. Responsibilities include providing analysis and support for installed systems, as well as system implementation and integration projects. This requires systems analysis, design, build, testing, and implementation for specific modules or applications (e.g., Cadence, MyChart, Radiant, Cupid, etc.). The role functions as an experienced liaison between clinical, business, and technical areas during the planning process and provides oversight throughout the project cycle. The analyst will build credibility and rapport with customers to understand their needs, research requests to determine scope, size, and impact, and validate requirement information with stakeholders for completeness, correctness, and clarity. Solutions will be validated to ensure they satisfy stated requirements. The analyst will maintain in-depth knowledge of existing systems and be certified in the vended application. They will be able to design, develop, or modify applications, algorithms, or rules via vendor tools or augmented tools developed within Mayo Clinic, and validate the data integrity of introduced changes. The role involves working on strategic projects with a Project Manager and managing small- to mid-sized operational projects independently. The analyst will work independently across multiple departments and divisions to accomplish goals. May be required to provide 24/7 on-call support.

Requirements

  • Must live within 100 miles of a Mayo Clinic campus or be willing to move.
  • Experience in participating in and providing strategic oversight to operations and project work.
  • Experience in supporting software programs or modules across clinical and/or business functions.
  • Understanding of enterprise business environments and the impact of ATS.
  • Experience in systems analysis, design, build, testing, and implementation.
  • Experience as a liaison between clinical, business, and technical areas.
