About The Position

The Senior Analyst, Assortment Activation, plays a critical role in supporting business plans by identifying operational needs and driving execution through cross-functional initiatives. This position involves managing space programs that support the merchandising strategy, providing insights to senior leadership, and translating strategies into actionable plans. The role requires strong collaboration, data analysis, and communication skills to remove barriers, measure progress, and adapt plans accordingly. The analyst also supports training development and process improvements, ensuring alignment with company standards and fostering continuous learning to enhance overall business performance. The Fashion Space & MOD team transforms assortment strategies into effective customer-focused floorplans, modular layouts, and space solutions that enhance sales, conversion, and loyalty. Supporting the D31/D32 Jewelry & Accessories business, the team develops and implements space strategies to optimize product placement, improve shopability, and maximize space productivity across Walmart stores. This collaborative team leverages data analysis, merchandising expertise, and operational insights to drive business results and deliver impactful retail experiences.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing cross-functional initiatives and executing business strategies within retail or merchandising environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights to drive business performance.
  • Expertise in project management, including identifying priorities, removing obstacles, and adjusting plans to meet evolving needs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to build relationships with stakeholders and influence outcomes effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver training content, evaluate effectiveness, and support continuous learning.
  • Commitment to integrity, ethical standards, and fostering a positive work environment aligned with company values.
  • Adaptability and resilience in managing competing demands and organizational changes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field OR 2 years’ experience in business management, merchandising, or related area.
