Senior Airport Design Engineer
About The Position
Egis is seeking a Senior Airport Design Engineer to design airport engineering projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, airfield lighting, and navigational aids. The role includes preparing engineering design reports, construction plans, contract documents, and technical specifications. The engineer may also contribute to general civil engineering projects involving site design, sanitary wastewater, water, and hydraulic evaluation. The position offers exposure to national and international aviation projects, opportunities to contribute to and lead initiatives in airport design, and professional development in a collaborative engineering environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least 8 years of experience in the civil engineering field.
- Ability to coordinate multiple project tasks.
- Self-motivated and able to handle a fast-paced position.
- Goal- and deadline-oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.
Nice To Haves
- Professional Engineer (PE) designation preferred.
- Aviation-related experience and knowledge of FAA criteria are a plus.
- Experience designing general civil engineering projects, including site design, sanitary wastewater, water, and hydraulic evaluation.
