Senior Air Controller

SAIC•University, FL

About The Position

SAIC is seeking a part-time Senior Air Controller to support its Collaborative Operations for Battlespace Resilient Architecture (COBRA). The role supports realistic, dynamic training for warfighter participants by coordinating simulation and scripting with other control cells and providing design, control, and observations to Air Force and component controllers. The Senior Air Controller manipulates simulation and white cell tools and uses troubleshooting and feedback to maintain a consistent, synchronized air picture in the Korea Theater of Operations for USFK, combined staff, USINDOPACOM, and component training audiences. The position also contributes participant-performance feedback through established Seventh Air Force mechanisms or as requested by Commander 7AF, works with the Pacific Air Simulation Center to improve simulation realism and address known problems, and supports theater exercises with U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa when requested by Commander USAFE.
