About The Position

The Senior Controller is responsible for maintaining the General Ledger, balancing revenue daily and monthly, and performing account analysis. The role provides accurate and timely information and reports to management and the Corporate Director of Gaming Audit. It ensures compliance with corporate policies and procedures, gaming regulations, minimum internal control standards (MICS), GCB Regulations, Station Casinos’ Internal Control System, and departmental procedures. The Senior Controller also oversees gaming audits and Regulation 6 A requirements, and hires and supervises Accounting Controllers and Managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related area.
• At least two years of Accounting/Financial experience (the posting states “minimum of Five (2) years or more”).

Responsibilities

• Complete and ensure the accuracy of gaming audits, and report discrepancies in accordance with GCB Regulations, Station Casinos’ Internal Control System, and departmental procedures.
• Ensure all Regulation 6 A requirements are met.
• Maintain the General Ledger.
• Balance revenue daily and monthly and perform account analysis.
• Provide accurate and timely information and reports to management and the Corporate Director of Gaming Audit.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures, gaming regulations, and minimum internal control standards (MICS).
• Review financial and statistical reports and balance sheet reconciliations for completeness and accuracy.
• Review all monthly journal entries.
• Hire and supervise Accounting Controllers and Managers.
