About The Position

We are seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer to serve as a key technical driver within our data science team. In this role, you will be the bridge between conceptual AI research and robust, production-grade software. You will work closely with our data scientists to transform complex machine learning workflows into modular, scalable, and highly adaptable systems. You will build the infrastructure that powers real-time computer vision and autonomous agentic applications, all while leveraging modern AI-augmented development tools.

Requirements

• Deep CS Fundamentals: Mastery of distributed systems, design patterns, networking fundamentals and concurrency models optimized for data-intensive applications.
• Architectural Fluency: Proven experience building modular systems. You know how to design for scalability, maintain state in distributed environments, and build systems that are easily extensible.
• Polyglot Programming: Expert-level proficiency in Python and a strong background in modern web technologies, including TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Modern Tooling: Hands-on experience with modern AI-agentic workflows and LLM-assisted development tools.
• Vision & AI Integration: Experience integrating computer vision models and video processing pipelines into production-ready architectures.
• Infrastructure: Expertise in Linux, container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Nice To Haves

• Experience with .NET/C# is a plus.
• A "first principles" thinker who thrives on navigating ambiguity and translating it into clean, documented, and maintainable code.
• A strong sense of architectural integrity; you prioritize system stability, security, and long-term maintainability over quick-fix solutions.
• A proactive communicator who enjoys working closely with data scientists and engineers to bridge the gap between model development and production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Bridge Engineering & Data Science: Collaborate directly with the data science team to operationalize research, translating experimental models into clean, maintainable, and production-ready code.
• Intelligent Systems Design: Design and implement distributed frameworks that coordinate vision models and agentic workflows. Ensure seamless orchestration between model inference, data processing, and decision-making logic.
• API & Service Design: Develop robust, secure, and performant APIs and MCP servers that bridge our sophisticated AI/ML pipelines with enterprise-grade applications. Ensure efficient processing of video-based data.
• Agentic Development: Champion the use of modern AI-augmented coding tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude Code, etc.).
• Infrastructure Excellence: Ensure efficient deployment pipelines and optimize performance across cloud and on-premises environments, ensuring our systems remain reliable and scalable.
