About The Position

Snyk is seeking a Senior AI Engineer for their Web team to help architect, optimize, and extend their global web environment. This role requires a hands-on and strategic individual confident in Next.js, experienced in designing scalable and type-safe content models and components for headless CMS architectures, and comfortable mentoring others. The engineer will collaborate with design, content, and marketing teams to deliver modern, performant, and accessible web experiences that align with Snyk's AI-native brand and vision.

Requirements

4–7+ years of web development experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or developer-focused environments
Deep knowledge of Next.js, React, GraphQL, SCSS, and headless CMSs (Contentful, Sanity, or Contentstack)
Experience with Vercel and modern deployment workflows
Experience using AI coding assistants and with full AI-Augmented Development Lifecycle
Ability to independently plan, build, and deliver projects end-to-end
Embrace a "Ship Fast" mindset: focus on delivering value iteratively and quickly
Understand principles of building quality software (UX, speed, security, style)
Focus on performance, code quality, QA and documentation
Strong communicator who enjoys partnering with non-technical stakeholders

Nice To Haves

Experience with TypeScript, Tailwind, or modern testing frameworks
Have worked with AI-driven personalization or modern analytics tools
Have familiarity/experience with Python & AI tooling
Good understanding of relational DB & vector stores
Have worked with git-based CMSs (eg. Keystatic)
Partner with our other Senior AI Engineer, and act as a technical mentor with more Junior resources
Contribute to open-source projects or web developer communities

Responsibilities

Drive the technical development and architectural evolution of Snyk’s global marketing website and campaign microsites/subdomains using Next.js, React, headless CMSs, and an in-house components design system.
Own technical architecture decisions, from performance optimization to accessibility compliance.
Proactively define priorities, estimate effort, and manage project delivery.
Optimize site architecture & release optimizations for LLM discoverability.
Work on multiple website environments.
Mentor developers through reviews, guidance, and 4 hands collaboration when needed.
Work cross-functionally with Brand, Content, and Digital Ops to implement UX and design enhancements, through creating new components and experiences.
Support integrations of 3rd-party marketing tools, scripts, and analytics.
Contribute to experiments and personalization strategies across digital touchpoints.
Ensure all code aligns with Snyk’s standards for security, scalability, and accessibility.
