About The Position

Paramount is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their web engineering team. Ideal candidates will encompass robust technical knowledge with extensive experience in designing and developing scalable web applications. The day to day for this role will include building, extending, and maintaining features on the ever-evolving Paramount+ web application, as well as the other brands they support. Requirements

5+ years of experience with web application development.
BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent functional experience.
Deep knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and Design, data structures, and algorithms.
Deep insight of web application development and best practices.
Experience developing responsive websites.
Solid JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, Sass, HTML ability.
Solid experience developing apps with React and/or Vue.js (preferably with SSR).
Experience with Node.js.
Experience with Unit Testing technologies in JS.
Good awareness of HTTP protocol and cashiers.
Solid knowledge of HTML DOM and Event APIs.
Solid knowledge of Webpack.
Solid knowledge of Git.
Effective communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with microservices.
Experience with React frameworks like Next.js.
Experience with GraphQL.
Experience with PHP.
Experience with E2E frameworks - with awareness with Cypress and Synergy.
Working knowledge of Docker and CI tools.
Experience using Module Federation and/or other micro frontend tools/frameworks.
Experience with Atomic Design Concepts.
