About The Position

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Aerospace Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will support our Department of Defense (DoD) customers on a variety of challenging modeling, simulation, and system analysis projects that contribute to the US intelligence community and weapons system development.

Requirements

Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have an active Secret clearance and be able to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or another STEM field and 8+ years of professional experience, OR Master’s degree and 5+ years of experience, OR Ph.D. and 2+ years of experience
Experience with 6-DoF simulation architectures, including their use in Monte Carlo and parametric simulation study design and analysis
Proficiency in C++, Python, Simulink, or a similar programming language
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Enthusiasm for working collaboratively with a highly technical team, including classified customers
An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.

Nice To Haves

Experience with OMEGA, ITASE, Sonic, or TMAP models
Experience with software development in a DevSecOps environment, including configuration control systems such as Git

Responsibilities

Analyze and model all aspects of missile weapon systems, including: Flight dynamics, Traditional and advanced navigation and communications systems, Onboard sensors, Command, Control, Communications, and Computer (C4) systems, Radar sensor systems, Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) sensors.
System analysis and model definition
Algorithm development and characterization
Coding and implementing models
Using simulations to conduct studies and report results
Developing and maintaining digital and hardware-in-the-loop simulation architectures
