JCTM•Washington, DC
•$115 - $130•Remote

About The Position

JCTM is assembling a Senior Advisory Board of accomplished military leaders, federal executives, mission engineering professionals, and technical experts to support proposed strategic advisory capabilities for the U.S. Coast Guard’s Futures Development and Integration (FD&I) Directorate and associated organizations. Advisors will provide specialized expertise and executive-level perspectives to help the Coast Guard anticipate future operational challenges, assess capability gaps, and develop practical recommendations for modernization and future force development, including support related to Force Design 2028. Advisory engagements may address enterprise strategy, mission engineering, future force design, operational readiness, emerging technologies, acquisition strategy, organizational transformation, and capability development. Advisors will collaborate with military leaders, federal professionals, mission engineers, program managers, and technical specialists. The board is intended to provide complementary perspectives from across military services, federal agencies, technology sectors, and operational domains. These are intermittent, part-time, project-based advisory opportunities rather than traditional full-time assignments. Engagements depend on authorized contract requirements, individual expertise and availability, and Government approval. Work may be remote or virtual, with periodic in-person engagements and travel to U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington, DC, or other Government facilities as required. Assignments may require a security investigation and eligibility for access to classified information; specific requirements, potentially including TS/SCI, depend on the assignment. Compensation, engagement structure, and anticipated hours will be established based on qualifications, mutually agreed terms, and authorized project requirements. No minimum hours or continued assignments are guaranteed. The opportunity is contingent upon contract award and authorized requirements.
