As a Sales Compensation Analyst, you'll be at the center of one of the most motivating sales compensation programs in the industry. You'll own the administration and execution of Boomi's global sales incentive plans, balancing the needs of our sales teams with the company's growth goals, while ensuring accuracy, scalability, and timeliness across every stage of the compensation cycle. You'll partner closely with Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, and the Xactly Program Manager to manage payroll processing, system configuration, and day-to-day plan administration within Xactly Incent.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of hands-on sales commission administration experience, specifically with Xactly Incent
  • Advanced proficiency in Xactly Incent and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sharp attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities with a high degree of accuracy
  • Clear communicator who can build trust across teams and navigate complex cross-functional relationships
  • Solid understanding of sales incentive compensation structures, data flows, and administration best practices

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Workday, Salesforce, and Google Sheets is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance, business, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly Xactly Incent load files with quotas, commission rates, and other key data for all incentive-eligible employees
  • Manage the end-to-end plan distribution process, from document generation through acceptance, to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Process compensation changes related to new hires, terminations, promotions, and transfers in Xactly Incent, in accordance with plan rules
  • Assist with configuration, testing, and ongoing maintenance of Xactly Incent, including org records, crediting rules, data uploads, and draw/advance payments
  • Support global commission plan administration and payments on a monthly basis
  • Partner with Sales Operations to triage incentive plan questions, establish best practices, and reduce manual processes
  • Review and process commission-related adjustments in the sales quoting and reporting system
  • Develop and track KPIs and metrics that support compensation program effectiveness and business growth
