About The Position

As a systems engineer in ACES, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for maintaining multiple collection systems around the world. You’ll make substantial contributions to CONOPS, requirements definition, trade studies, performance analysis, design, integration, and verification of these systems. You will work with a dynamic dedicated team supporting ground-based and mobile RF collection systems around the world. This role involves working with a small team of employees committed to the program in developing advanced technical solutions to support our customer’s needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire.
  • Must be able to obtain Polygraph.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Willingness to travel OCONUS to remote isolated locations for up to six weeks without outside contact.
  • Knowledge and utilization of design tools such as Visio.
  • Working knowledge of RF, IF distribution and network designs.
  • Ability to read and understand schematics, one-line diagrams and block diagrams.
  • Demonstrable experience with the design of complex systems and subsystems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross functional team as well as a diverse customer base.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, verbal and written communication, presentation and organizational skills.

  • Background in RF and RF Collection Systems.
  • Hands-on experience with use of electronic test equipment.
  • Experience with Antennas and Servo Systems.
  • Creative thinker with demonstrated success leading the systems development life cycle.
