Senior Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer
About The Position
As a Senior Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer – Machining here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will provide technical expertise and support in materials and process engineering with an emphasis and machining operations and processes. You will work as part of a highly engaged and integrated Materials Engineering team. You will collaborate across Honeywell Aerospace engineering teams to create solutions and systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will participate in all phases of product development and will be a technical point of contact for less experienced engineers. Approximately 10-20% travel, national and international.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical design and advanced machining operations and processes.
- Strong understanding of materials and process engineering principles.
- Experience in product development lifecycle.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
