About The Position

The ISC Engineering Mirror team is looking for a Sr Manufacturing engineer in the mirror fab area. This role provides test and manufacturing support for sub components in the Ring Laser Gyro (RLG) and Tactical Guidance Products (TGP) production lines. The engineer will perform yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability, product health trends and drive yield improvements. They will utilize CAMP, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices, and investigate and resolve technical issues, facilitating issue identification and analysis. The role also involves developing improvements in product design and in the manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions, and assisting in the development of new processes for cleaning glass substrates for thin film deposition. Support for test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow is also required. The engineer will facilitate a self-driven work force culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
  • 2+ years experience or Advanced degree in Engineering discipline
