About The Position

A Senior Administrative Business Partner will provide organizational and administrative support for the AI Biology and Translation (AIBT) group. Responsible for managing a wide range of complex administrative duties with a strong focus on quality, attention to detail, and confidentiality. Proactively anticipates and prioritizes tasks in a fast-paced, high-visibility, and high-impact environment. Regularly engages with key stakeholders, managing highly sensitive and complex information with the utmost discretion. Collaborates closely with the Principal Administrative Business Partner to ensure seamless and effective support across AIBT.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in administrative, operations, or project management roles; biotech/pharma industry preferred.
  • Skilled in supporting senior leaders, multitasking, prioritizing independently, and coordinating team workflows.
  • Strong collaborator with a team-first mindset; shares information across functions to drive collective success.
  • Trusted with confidential information; exercises sound judgment and maintains high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in cSuite tools (gCal, gSheets, Trello, ZOOM, etc.); capable of training others.
  • Onsite presence, on our South San Francisco campus, is expected for at least 3 days a week.

Nice To Haves

  • BS/BA degree is preferred but not required.
  • Familiar with Genentech’s organization and culture is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Expert in Google Suite, managing shared drives, complex scheduling (across time zones), and departmental tools like cSuite.
  • Plan and execute internal meetings, offsites, and events—often involving webcasting, travel logistics, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Support office logistics like space planning and moves in collaboration with admin leads.
  • Manage candidate/interview process (hosting candidate, collecting feedback, preparing hiring/promotion package for review committee, partnering with Talent Acquisition and Hiring Manager throughout the process).
  • Provide support for the biweekly Forums, including catering, AV setup, and speaker coordination.
  • Organize speaker engagement logistics including but not limited to; reserving meeting rooms, setting up AV support, arranging Circle Talks and 1:1 agendas.
  • Collaborate with Administrative Business Partners across CS-CoE, participating in biweekly admin meetings and planning of logistics for department-wide events.
