About The Position

This role provides day-to-day support for multiple partners and their respective teams in a remote and in-person format within a Management Consulting practice. The position involves assisting with client or Firm deliverables such as presentations, reports, and spreadsheets, and requires extensive coordination and management of complex technical proposals. The Senior Administrative Assistant will also coordinate meetings and events, including travel arrangements, navigate reporting, create and review client invoices, and attain a proficient level of operational knowledge in the Firm’s operational systems like Workday, WYN, and LCvista to train practice staff. The role supports arrangements for internal and external meetings/events, assists with administrative projects, and is responsible for frequent communications with all levels of the organization. Focused support with operational procedures related to multiple practice areas within Management Consulting, and general office-level support needs are also key functions. The position actively contributes to the compilation and maintenance of operational support documentation, assists with onboarding technical support training of new admins, and participates in administrative thought leadership, championing Firm and practice-specific initiatives. The role also syndicates technical expertise to assist others as a department/region/Firm-wide resource.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 7+ years of experience working in an administrative or executive administrative role, preferably in professional services.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills with a focus on client service and the ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative while maintaining high confidentiality.
  • Solid technical proficiency including knowledge of MS Office applications (particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support for multiple partners and their respective teams in a remote and in-person format.
  • Assist with the production of client or Firm deliverables such as presentations, reports, and spreadsheets.
  • Extensive coordination and management of complex technical proposals, including collaboration with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy, maintain firm standards, and meet submission deadlines.
  • Coordinate meetings and events, including travel arrangements for partners and staff.
  • Navigate reporting, create and review client invoices, utilizing hours and expense detail in the firm’s practice management system.
  • Attain proficient level of operational knowledge in the Firm’s operational systems like Workday, WYN, and LCvista in order to be capable of training practice staff in appropriate use of system.
  • Align and support arrangements for internal and external meetings/events in conference rooms (including needed equipment and/or conference and video calls, catered meals, set-up, clean-up, etc.).
  • Assist with administrative projects.
  • Responsible for frequent communications with all levels of the organization.
  • Focused support with operational procedures related to multiple practice areas within Management Consulting.
  • Assist with office-level support needs.
  • Actively contributes to the compilation and maintenance of operational support documentation for designated practice area(s) and Management Consulting.
  • Assists with onboarding technical support training of new admins alongside administrative leadership.
  • Participates in administrative thought leadership and champions the Firm, Management Consulting, as well as practice-specific initiatives.
  • Syndicates technical expertise to assist others as a department/region/Firm-wide resource.
