The Organizational Culture and Engagement Department works across Pew to advance institutional cultural and engagement priorities. Program Coordination and Services supports the program department’s 40-plus projects to make Pew’s work more efficient and effective. The team partners with operations units to strengthen people management and reporting structures; refine program’s management of budgets, grants, and contracts; and implement systems to guide Pew’s work as the organization continues to evolve. The Senior Administrative Assistant provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Vice President, Organizational Culture and Engagement (OCE) and the Senior Director and Director, Program Coordination and Services (PCS). The role supports these leaders across separate units, helping them manage priorities, coordinate schedules and communications, and ensure the smooth execution of work within their units as well as cross-functional work. The position also provides administrative support to the broader OCE and PCS teams, helping coordinate shared processes, activities, and operational needs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, discreet, and skilled at balancing competing priorities across senior leaders and their respective teams. Strong judgment, communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate needs and work independently are essential. The Senior Administrative Assistant reports to the Senior Director, Program Coordination and Services, and will be based in Pew's Washington, DC, office. This role participates in Pew’s core in-office days on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with the flexibility to work from home the remainder of each week.
