About The Position

Magnus Management Group LLC is seeking a Senior Admin Support professional to provide comprehensive administrative and records management services to the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) in Arlington, VA. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring a Secret clearance. The role involves managing records, implementing policies, providing technical support, and ensuring efficient administrative operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in records management and administrative support, strong computer skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Requirements

  • At least 10 total years of related work experience.
  • At least 5 years of records management experience, including Freedom of Information Act information management.
  • College degree required in business or information management and/or related certifications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience with creating and implementing records management policies, procedures, and retention schedules.
  • Experience evaluating program effectiveness and recommending improvements.
  • Experience providing training and technical assistance to staff.
  • Experience with administrative services like office management, building and facilities management, human resources, and/or policies and procedures.
  • Strong computer skills (database, word processing, and data entry skills).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to innovative and quality customer service.
  • Ability to provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting issues with AV equipment during events.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex problems.
  • Physical ability to move large number of files and/or file boxes.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement records management policies, procedures, and retention schedules.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements for records management.

  • Provide on-site technical support and troubleshoot AV equipment issues during events.
