Energy Transport Logistics is seeking a self-motivated individual who can work in a fast-paced environment and is able to multitask. This individual will be part of a growing team and will be a key individual in growing accounting department. Will provide support to internal and external customers’ needs with a proactive and professional approach.

Specialized billing knowledge

Nice To Haves

2 or more years accounting experience
QuickBooks and excel experience
Transportation Industry experience a plus

Responsibilities

Manage accounts payable folder, including incoming invoices from various vendors
Send invoices to managers for approval
Input invoices into QuickBooks
Run accounts payable reports weekly and send to CEO for approval prior to check run
Daily check processing: print checks from accounts payable report, mail checks, match backup documentation to check copies, and file accordingly.
Enter all agent invoices into a specialized, freight operating system (Alpha Truck) to record linehaul / local charges
Make routine pickup and delivery to local U.S. Post Office
Check deposit processing: copy all checks and process remote deposit to bank; scan copies of checks for Billing Manager to post
Daily entry of all bank/wire information into QuickBooks
Aid and show leadership in conversion to a paperless environment
Cross train and provide back-up for other accounting functions
Assist in implementing any future systems
Prepare monthly account reconciliations and analysis
