About The Position

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist who will be essential in ensuring that all reconciliations and transactions are accurate and timely processed. Your role will involve overseeing accounts payable processes, verifying and processing payments, and collaborating with various teams on related concepts.

Requirements

• Three to Five (3-5) years’ experience in accounts payable
• Experience with reconciling a three-way match (PO, Receiving, Invoices)
• Deltek/Cost Point or ERP experience
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel)
• Great time management and organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Team player, have a “can do” attitude

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or a bachelor’s degree in accounting, a plus

Responsibilities

• Reconciling appropriate invoice using the three-way match (PO, Receiving, Invoice)
• Analyzing workflow processes
• Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Review, analyze and respond to vendor inquiries and perform vendor statement and account reconciliations
• Assist in the AP process
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather, analyze and interpret financial data
• Charge expenses to appropriate general ledger accounts
• Assist in modifications of daily reports to increase efficiency
