Innovative Signs is a family-owned business celebrating 25 years of success. We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented accounting professional to join our team in a flexible, part-time position. We're looking for someone who enjoys digging into the numbers, identifying opportunities for cost savings, and helping a business improve its financial processes and profitability.
Requirements
- Several years of hands-on accounting experience
- Strong understanding of reconciliations, job costing, and expense analysis
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
Nice To Haves
- Experience with inventory accounting preferred
- Manufacturing, construction, or job-based business accounting experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform month-end account reconciliations and review financial accuracy
- Analyze company spending and identify opportunities to reduce expenses
- Review vendor costs, recurring bills, and purchasing practices
- Evaluate job costing, including labor, materials, and profitability
- Assist with inventory reconciliation and accurate inventory valuation
- Identify accounting discrepancies and recommend improvements
- Assist with financial reporting and expense analysis
- Work directly with ownership to improve financial efficiencies
