About The Position

The Senior Accounting Manager is responsible for supporting Controllers in ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, enforcing accounting policies, and maintaining the integrity of financial reporting across Rehlko Power Systems. This role serves as the primary liaison between the business, corporate accounting, shared services, and external auditors, while ensuring disciplined close processes, strong balance sheet governance, and effective internal controls in accordance with SOX and ICFR requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including exposure to complex close and reporting environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Demonstrated experience with SOX / ICFR compliance and external audits.
  • Proven ability to manage balance sheet governance, reconciliations, and accounting policies in a global or multi‑entity environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead accounting and reporting contact for Rehlko Power Systems to Corporate Accounting.
  • Ensure accurate, complete, and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual close and reporting processes.
  • Enforce adherence to accounting policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Provide governance over journal entry creation, review, approval, and posting standards.
  • Ensure appropriate P&L and balance sheet classification in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Act as the intercompany accounting point of escalation, resolving cross‑entity issues in coordination with corporate and shared services teams.
  • Oversee and ensure the appropriateness of revenue recognition under U.S. GAAP.
  • Support Controllers in resolving complex or judgment‑based accounting matters.
  • Monitor and assess accounting impacts of business changes, new transactions, or process modifications.
  • Maintain overall balance sheet integrity, ensuring accounts are properly supported and reconciled.
  • Ensure timely completion of account reconciliations at the appropriate level of rigor and documentation.
  • Lead aged item review, escalation, and clearance to prevent balance sheet stagnation.
  • Own and enforce master data controls, approvals, and compliance related to financial reporting.
  • Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of SOX and ICFR compliance.
  • Serve as audit lead and evidence owner for external and internal audits.
  • Coordinate audit requests, provide high‑quality supporting documentation, and resolve audit findings in a timely manner.
  • Partner with Corporate Accounting and Internal Audit to strengthen controls and remediate deficiencies.
  • Ensure statutory reporting compliance across applicable legal entities.
  • Act as a key direct and indirect tax contact, supporting tax reporting, audits, and inquiries.
  • Serve as the Treasury point of contact, supporting cash, banking, intercompany funding, and treasury‑related accounting matters.
  • Act as the primary liaison with the Shared Service Center, ensuring service quality, accountability, and process alignment.
  • Collaborate closely with Controllers, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Operations, and IT to ensure consistency and scalability of accounting processes.
