About The Position

Responsible for performing moderately complex accounting tasks in support of the Department. This role ensures accuracy, integrity, and timely processing of financial transactions and records.

Requirements

• Ability to apply basic math (arithmetic, ratios, proportions or conversions)
• Excellent oral or written communication skills
• Proficient use of Ten Key (by touch)
• Understanding of accounting principles
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Intermediate use of Microsoft Word and Excel
• 2 years of directly related experience

Responsibilities

• Input and process general ledger journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper supporting documentation.
• Archive accounting documents, including journal entries, invoices, and bank reconciliations, in accordance with internal policies and audit requirements.
• Review and process invoices and payment requests, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies.
• Compile data and prepare financial summaries, reports, charts, and graphs for internal use and management review.
• Research and resolve moderately complex accounting discrepancies or issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned.
