Senior Accounting Analyst (Materials and Inventory)

Located on Tidy Cat Road, our 40-acre plant site is seamlessly connected to a clay mine, enabling efficient mining, processing, packaging, and shipping. Operating around the clock, we mass produce conventional and clumping cat litter, supplying the mid-Atlantic region with nearly a third of a million tons annually. As a Senior Accounting Analyst (Materials and Inventory), you’ll oversee inventory control management and material accounting systems while ensuring compliance with accounting principles, Nestlé accounting standards, and company policies and standards. You’ll play a key role in the continuous training and development of factory personnel on inventory control systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
- 2+ years of experience in general accounting, cost accounting and/or inventory control in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for continuous analysis of variance results, losses of raw and packaging materials, and finished product
- Coordinate monthly closing activities for materials accounting and report results at monthly review
- Coordinate and manage budget requirements for materials accounting
- Maintain data integrity and production data to ensure material master data accuracy and support traceability requirements
- Coordinate, audit, and advise on physical inventory procedures in each respective area to ensure accurate and timely completion
- Manage production data accounting personnel
