The Senior Accounting Analyst will support financial reporting and analysis, claims, audits, and other external reporting and filings. Key responsibilities include tracking costs, compiling reports for insurance claims, managing special projects, and performing detailed reviews of financial transactions for accuracy and proper classification. The analyst will also manage asset tracking and valuation, collaborate with internal personnel to ensure adherence to procedures, and work with external auditors and claims adjusters. A significant part of the role involves documenting and reporting costs for insurance claims, coordinating inputs from various departments, and communicating with leadership. The position also supports budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and complex accounting issues, conducts internal audits, and assists in training accounting staff.
