This position is responsible for preparing and entering monthly journal entries, creating financial statements, performing balance sheet account cross-checks, and scanning monthly work papers. It also involves preparing the workers' compensation report and performing various reconciliations. On a quarterly and annual basis, the role includes preparing and filing statements for insurance companies, preparing the combined annual statement, and being responsible for NAIC and AM Best filings. The role may also require performing other job-related tasks as assigned.
