We are a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Senior Accountant. This position reports to the Controller and will work in Sparta, TN. As a Senior Accountant in the Sparta team, you will be involved in a variety of finance-related tasks including but not limited to preparing and maintaining accounting records, payroll reporting, journal entries, Balance Sheet reconciliations, and various internal and external reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Assist with month-end closing activities.
Prepare journal entries and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
Process payroll reports and serve as HR backup during planned absences.
Submit required monthly internal and external reporting.
Maintain financial performance tracking reports including sales, margin, and PPV.
Maintain and update fixed asset records.
Support internal and external audits.
Present financial statement records as necessary.
Assist with internal controls and process efficiency improvements.
Search for cost reductions and financial System errors to correct.
Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned.
