About The Position

This position is responsible for complex accounting and reporting requirements of the company and performs managerial operating or cost accounting activities.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Must be an outstanding communicator with established skills in accuracy and working in a high-volume environment.
  • Demonstrate ability to support all other departments within the company.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting and GAAP principles.
  • Extensive knowledge of the theory and practice of recording, classifying, examining and analyzing the data and records of financial transactions.
  • Detail oriented and organized.
  • Ability to meet strict and frequent deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with a variety of people.
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Math, Business Administration or related field required.
  • A minimum of five years of accounting/finance experience including financial reporting requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • SAP experience preferred but not required.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or master's degree a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
  • Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintains and reconciles and fixed assets schedules.
  • Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
  • Prepares monthly management and financial reporting.
  • Assess internal controls, including risk assessment and reviews of risk areas.
  • Monitor and support taxation requirements.
  • Manage and support accounting assistants.
  • Support accounting policies and prepare corresponding documentation.
  • Assists with external and internal audit requests by providing information to auditors.
  • Performs special duties and other projects as assigned.
  • Adheres to all company policies.
