About The Position

The Senior Accountant will support lease accounting for more than 2,700 locations, applying IFRS 16 accounting principles to work with a significant balance-sheet impact. The assignment is expected to last 2–3 months while a full-time employee is sought, but may extend to as long as 6 months. The role is intended to relieve workload and burnout risk for internal staff while the organization continues its full-time search. The position is listed as hybrid, with 3 days per week in the office at 13555 N Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, TX 75234; the requisition also separately labels the role onsite. Work hours are 20–30 per week.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or higher in accounting.
• Knowledge of IFRS 16 accounting guidelines and/or lease abstraction experience.
• Ability to think critically, solve problems, and multitask.
• Detail-oriented.
• Good communication skills.
• 3–5 or more years of experience preferred, with flexibility for candidates who have specialized lease abstraction experience over a shorter period in a comparable industry.
