About The Position

The Senior Accountant plays a key role in managing the organization’s financial processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This position leads month-end close activities, supports financial analysis, and partners cross-functionally to drive operational efficiency and strong internal controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
  • Experience with month-end close and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred
  • Experience with intercompany accounting and consolidations
  • Background in treasury or cash management functions

Responsibilities

  • Lead month-end close process, including P&L review and financial performance analysis
  • Prepare and review general ledger reconciliations (prepaids, accruals, and other balance sheet accounts)
  • Perform monthly intercompany reconciliations and manage intercompany transactions
  • Record and review journal entries (depreciation, accruals, prepaid expenses, ROU assets, etc.)
  • Prepare consolidated monthly financial reporting packages for executive leadership
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies
  • Conduct monthly sales and financial performance analysis
  • Coordinate and review sales tax reporting with external partners
  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate cash records
  • Monitor liquidity and prepare weekly cash flow reports
  • Analyze loan balances and borrowing base availability
  • Reconcile bank accounts to loan accounts
  • Process vendor payments (ACH and wire) and approve positive pay transactions
  • Support year-end close and coordinate with external auditors
  • Assist with budgeting and financial planning processes
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial accuracy and efficiency
  • Identify and implement process improvements and strengthen internal controls
  • Perform additional duties as needed
