Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and close processes
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, linking spreadsheets)
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • ERP Experience (Sage 100 is a plus!)
  • A proactive problem-solver who enjoys improving processes with Excel automation
  • Desire to grow, contribute, and lead

Responsibilities

  • Own key components of the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate results
  • Prepare financial statements and analyze monthly budget variances
  • Research and interpret data to answer accounting and financial questions
  • Coordinate external audit preparation by organizing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist the CFO with the daily operations of the Accounting Department
  • Support and mentor other accounting team members
