A Senior Accountant will focus on Financial, Property Business Asset Accounting, or Tax Compliance, but must be prepared to support other areas. Financial Accounting includes the production of individual legal entity and consolidated financial statements as well as the planning and coordination of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes. Close processes will include preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciliation of general ledger balance sheet accounts and expense variance analysis. Business Asset Accounting includes full cycle accounting, budgeting, reconciliation and reporting of capital assets including leases. Tax Compliance includes supporting all tax functions for the organization including sales tax returns, property tax returns, exempt organization informational returns (990), unrelated business income tax returns (990-T), and state and federal income tax returns (1120 and 1065).
