Senior Accountant
About The Position
The Senior Accountant is a key contributor within our corporate accounting team, responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations and the month-end close process. This role provides hands-on exposure across multiple entities and works closely with leadership to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. This position reports to the Controller, and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. We are a private equity–backed automotive services organization operating within the vehicle reconditioning industry, providing a range of on-site services to automotive dealerships. The organization operates across multiple states and legal entities and continues to expand through a combination of organic growth and strategic acquisitions. The business is executing an active acquisition strategy, integrating new platforms and operations into a growing national footprint. Our corporate accounting team supports a multi-entity environment and works closely with executive leadership to ensure accurate reporting, disciplined financial processes, and scalable operations in a private equity–backed setting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting or industry)
- Experience supporting month-end close and general ledger accounting
- Strong Excel skills
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and organizational skills
- Comfortable taking ownership and learning across multiple areas
