About The Position
Fix-It 24/7 is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team in Charleston, South Carolina. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys taking ownership of financial processes, and wants to be part of a company experiencing rapid growth. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close activities, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a Senior Accountant role
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
- Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the home services, construction, or trades industry
- Experience with Sage Intacct, or Quickbooks
- Experience with Service Titan (preferred)
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred but not required
- Multi-entity or multi-location accounting experience
Responsibilities
- Perform month-end and year-end close activities
- Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and adjusting entries
- Analyze financial statements and identify trends or discrepancies
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and balance sheet accounts
- Support internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
- Assist with process improvements and implementation of best practices
- Partner with operational leaders to provide financial insights and support business decisions
- Support multi-location accounting functions as needed
