About The Position

ATI is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Financial Administration team in either our Dallas, TX or Pittsburgh, PA office. This is an onsite position 5 days per week. This role will report to the Corporate Accounting Manager and is an integral part of a high-performing team that ensures the timely and accurate reporting of ATI’s internal and external financial statements and information. You will work closely with the Accounting team across various areas of Corporate Accounting and Finance and your primary responsibilities will be to support our monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, including maintaining general ledgers, preparing/entering journal entries and preparing financial statements. A successful Senior Accountant will have a working knowledge of Accounting functions and processes and should also have strong organizational and time management skills in order to balance many projects and priorities.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Accounting.
  • At least 3 years’ experience working in audit or general accounting.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.

  • Previous experience working with IT applications such as financial reporting databases, including Oracle and OneStream.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams within finance and across the enterprise.

  • Strong customer focus and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the general ledgers under the leadership of the Accounting Manager.
  • Assist with the monthly Corporate Billing process.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and other financial analysis.
  • Actively involved in the monthly/quarterly/annual closing process including the preparation of journal entries and posting into the Oracle general ledger system.
  • Submission of general ledgers into the Company’s consolidation system.
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
  • Make recommendations for continuous improvement to increase efficiency and maximize internal customer service.
  • Assist with various department projects and internal/external requests as needed.
