Your work will include, but not be limited to: Provide accounting services to clients May assist with special projects and resolution of client issues. Client engagements usually are recurring Create and maintain records of client financial transactions using QuickBooks Online, Intacct, Yardi and a variety of third party add-on software such as Melio or Bill. Verify, allocate and post details of business transactions to accounting system Perform daily accounting activities including A/R and A/P cycles with additional duties over time Enter payroll journal entries Reconcile and balance accounts including bank and credit card reconciliations Review data regarding material assets, net worth, liabilities, surplus, income, and expenditures Compile financial reports for client management, such as balance sheets and income statements. Provide support for audits by external entities and tax returns by preparing supporting schedules, gathering information and providing analysis as requested. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field is required
  • 4 + years of transactional accounting experience in industry desired
  • 2+ years of financial statement close experience preferred
  • Experience working with QuickBooks Online, Yardi or Intacct is preferred; overall technical savvy with accounting software programs is required
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, with the exception of qualified candidates who are bilingual in either Japanese and English or Chinese and English.
