About The Position

The Senior Accountant is responsible for accounting activity across multiple PDQ Industries business units with a primary initial focus on accounts payable and accounts receivable. The ideal candidate is driven, detail-oriented, and looking to grow into greater responsibility as the company expands.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of progressive accounting experience; multi-entity or multi-business exposure a plus.
Strong working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; ERP experience preferred.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally with non-finance teams.
Self-motivated and driven, with a strong desire to grow into greater responsibility.

Nice To Haves

CPA or progress toward CPA a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Process accounts payable, including invoice review, coding, approvals, and timely vendor payments.
Perform accounts receivable, including cash application and aging review.
Assist with close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and annual audit.
Prepare supporting schedules and ad hoc reports for management review.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis as needed.
Ensure accurate, organized records to support audits, tax filings, and internal controls.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, workflows, and efficiency across the businesses.
Partner with operations and leadership across business units to resolve accounting questions and discrepancies.
Take on additional projects and responsibilities as the role and company grow.
